The musical event of the holiday season is back! The North Shore’s most popular holiday benefit concert returns after a five-year hiatus, on December 14th at West Vancouver’s Kay Meek Centre. It’s a family affair as always, featuring Michelle, Monique and Michael Creber with special guests Edith Wallace, Jasmine Bharucha, Gabriel Brown, Andy Stein, Natalie Sharp, the Cypress Singers, talented students & alumni of Creber Music Academy, Vanleena Dancers and more. These great entertainers will perform the show’s signature blend of pop, jazz, rock and traditional holiday classics, with a liberal sprinkling of comedy, dance and children’s voices, all accompanied by a live band directed by Grammy-nominated, Juno Award-winning pianist/producer Michael Creber.
MICHELLE CREBER is a 14-year-old actor, singer, voiceover artist and dancer from Vancouver, Canada who is best known internationally as the speaking/singing voice of “Apple Bloom” and the singing voice of "Sweetie Belle" on My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (The Hub/Treehouse). Michelle's on-screen film and TV credits include Smart Cookies (Hallmark), The Haunting Hour (The Hub), Supernatural (CW), Eureka (NBC), Christmas Lodge (Showcase), Killer Among Us (Lifetime), and The Search for Santa Paws (Disney).
In addition to her voice work on My Little Pony, Michelle has voiced many other characters including “Lucy” in Peanuts Motion Comics (Warner Bros), “Alice” in Martha Speaks (PBS Kids), “Teri” and “Michelle” on Dinosaur Train (Jim Henson) and "Wendy" in the New Adventures of Peter Pan (ABC3). Theatre credits include the title role in Annie (twice), “Dorothy” in The Wizard of Oz, “Brigitta” in The Sound of Music and “Tiny Tim” in A Christmas Carol.
Michelle’s various acting, musical and comedic skills are also showcased in a new online variety show, Speedy & Stretch, recently launched on her YouTube channel, which features classic & original comedy sketches as well as music videos and special guests.
In the summer of 2012, Michelle released her debut album, Timeless: Songs of a Century; an acclaimed, multi-genre collection of top hits from 1910 to 2010. Timeless was immediately embraced by fans from dozens of countries around the world and was quickly followed by the release of A Creber Christmas. Both albums feature vocal skills, style, power and versatility that defy Michelle’s young age. A talented songwriter who also plays piano, drums and guitar, Michelle is now working on a collection of original songs and enjoys frequent musical collaborations with popular artists such as Black Gryph0n, MandoPony, The Living Tombstone, Mic the Microphone, Daniel Ingram, Steffan Andrews & Andrea Libman. She also loves a variety of sports, games, art, cooking, photography, family time and her two dogs, Max & Marley!
